Mission: My mission is to be a museum professional who gives a voice to those who have been silenced and marginalized through museum exhibits and educational programs.

Vision: I aspire to be a museum professional who gives everyone a chance to speak in a safe environment where they are being allowed to tell their stories and have them accurately represented. I hope to become an advocate for accessibility in museums and do everything with the best museum practices in mind.

Values: As a future museum professional I value honesty and authenticity in my work. I will be someone who places value on accuracy and thinking ethically. I will be someone who puts their heart into what they are doing, and I won’t work on a project if I don’t agree with the message being presented. It is important to me to create an environment in museums that is accessible to every individual regardless of boundaries. I believe it is imperative to create an environment in museums where everyone can use their voice to express their story honestly and accurately. As a museum professional I will keep the best museum practices in mind with anything that I do.
